Frequently Asked Questions

An Internship Cum Simulation is a hybrid experience that combines elements of a traditional internship with simulated work scenarios. It offers participants hands-on practice in a controlled environment, allowing them to tackle real-world challenges without the pressures of an actual job. This approach bridges the gap between classroom learning and professional experience, providing valuable skills and insights for career preparation.

It is the platform that offers immersive job simulations and simulated career experiences to students and professionals, aiming to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical, real-world experience.

Job Simulations are online programs built and endorsed by leading companies. They contain a series of resources and tasks designed to simulate the real-world experience of starting a career.

In a nutshell Job Simulations on Meri Skill are designed first and foremost to help students.  By completing a Meri Skill Job Simulation you will:

– Better understand the diverse and exciting career pathways available to you; and
– Build the skills and confidence that will set you up for success as you move from the world of study to the world of work

Think of it like a risk-free opportunity to try out a career in a leading company, the main differences are:

– Job Simulations are open to all students (no applications!);
– You can’t make any mistakes in a Job Simulation (no pressure!); and
– The best part is, Job Simulations are truly digital, you can complete them in your own time, from anywhere in the world.

Unfortunately not – The Job Simulations that we create are designed to replicate the work that you would do in a company, the work is based on real scenarios, however you won’t be working specifically for the company.

Our goal is to help you build the skills and confidence that will set you up for success in your career, the experience you get from completing a Job Simulation will be invaluable!

The participants will get the following certificates and letters:

An  *Welcome letter* can be generated immediately after attending the induction.

*Completion Letter* from MeriSkill And Partnered company (on successful completion of internship).

*Appreciation letter/certificate* ( For top performers).

Yes, successful candidates will be presented to company officials and will have the opportunity to be involved in the recruitment processes.

It is like stop watching a movie halfway through. Its just that you will not receive completion certificate of experience of simulation at MeriSKill.

MeriSKILL works with leading companies to understand what skills they are looking for in a successful graduate and what a graduate in their company does day-to-day.

We then use our innovative tech platform to build online tasks and resources that replicate a day in the life of a graduate and to build the skills you need to be successful.

Certainly. You can include it in your CV and LinkedIn profile, and you can also discuss your simulation experience during interviews.

The list is growing each day! – register an account with MERI SKILL and take a look at the leading companies that have Job Simulations live on our platform.

Companies have told us that they want to help students understand the interesting work that they do and the exciting career opportunities that are available for graduates in their companies.

When you sign up to a new Job Simulation you will *always have the option to “opt-out” of sharing any of your details* (including the work that you submit). We will let you know upfront if you are completing a Job Simulation for a company that is keen to see your submitted work.

As you complete each task of the Job Simulation you will unlock real work samples to show you how a graduate at that company would have approached each task.

In this way you will be able to self-assess your own work and continue to build the skills and confidence to be successful in your transition from university to the world of work

We can’t promise that you will receive an offer of employment when you complete a Job Simulation, but we can promise that you will have a great leg up when it comes to knowing about the company, and the skills you need to be successful when you start.

Some companies may look on your participation in a Job Simulation favourably in job applications.

Our Job Simulations are learning programs, designed to give you new insights to help you imagine where a career with a leading company might take you. Registering in a Job Simulation does not mean you are employed by MeriSkill or the company that has created the simulation.

We don’t have any eligibility criteria. You can directly en-roll in any of the simulation from our website.

Participants will get help related to understanding the problem statement and the project delivery process.

The interns have to complete the tasks as per the instructions within the deadlines.

We encourage focusing on one field at a time as this will help yield better results.

We treat the collection and storage of your data very seriously. To be upfront, we will collect some data on you to help us better customise our Job Simulations for you. We encourage you to read our privacy notice here and our terms of use.
